How we work

Our Service

At our initial meeting, you will be able to view various complete albums from recent weddings and see the fantastic quality at first hand. We can discuss your particular wedding in order to make sure it is possible for us to take the pictures that you want and that you are happy we can fulfill your needs.

Both of us are fully qualified members of the Master Photographer's Association and whichever of us photographs your wedding, you can be assured of the same great service.

All of our packages include a pre wedding shoot, which is a great way for us to get to know each other better, and provides a fun way to get some fantastic pictures of you both. As well as getting some stunning, relaxed pictures of the two of you, you will also see how we work and get comfortable being directed in front of the camera.

You will receive two 12” x 8” prints from this shoot included in the package. This shoot generally takes place a couple of months before your wedding so that you have a familiar face around you on the day itself.

Coverage in all packages begins with the Bride’s final preparations approximately 90 minutes before the ceremony. We will then move on to the venue to capture the boys and your guests arriving prior to the arrival of the Bride. It is possible to book a second photographer if you would like both the Bride and Groom preparations photographed.

The ceremony will be discreetly photographed to capture the emotions and important moments of the church or civil ceremony. Coverage of the ceremony is at the discretion of the minister or registrar and it is important that you discuss what they will allow at your pre-wedding meeting with them.

After the ceremony we will capture some photographs of you both as a newly married couple before moving on to the reception venue for a well earned glass of champagne! We are not traditional ‘line up and shoot’ photographers but understand there will always be some group shots required and we make these fun and enjoyable for everyone.

We appreciate that you and your guests want to have fun rather than standing around for endless group photographs and to achieve this we suggest you limit group photographs to no more than six groups and that you nominate someone who knows your guests to assist us. It is not taking the photographs which is time consuming; it is getting Great Aunt Maud out of the toilet or away from the champagne!

After the group shots and before you sit down for your wedding meal, we will photograph a combination of relaxed unposed photographs of your guests and also take you both away on your own for some of our signature images. These are unique, creatively lit and directed images that we are well known for.

Packages are available up to the start of the wedding breakfast to include the speeches and cake cutting if they are carried out prior to the meal being served or until the first dance. Having speeches before the meal is now very popular as the speakers are able to relax and enjoy their meal without the nerves of the speeches spoiling their appetite!

This is just an outline of a typical day. Obviously your wedding is individual and we are very happy to be as flexible as you need us to be to ensure that you are happy with the photographs you receive. The pre-wedding shoot is a great opportunity to discuss any special requests you may have. Within 48 hours of your wedding we will post a few images from your day on our Blog.

This gives everyone a chance to have a sneaky peek at some images without seeing all of your wedding pictures before you. As soon as all the images are ready they will be displayed in a password protected online gallery. You can then let your family and friends know your password as soon as you are ready.

Your proof CD will be sent to you when you get back from your honeymoon. Once you have received your proofs you have four months to select all the images you would like in your wedding album. Bev designs each album individually to tell the story of your day and the initial design is this sent to you as a PDF attachment via email.

Any changes you request are made and when you are happy with your cover choice, design and layout we order your album. Your CD of high resolution images is delivered with your wedding album.

As each wedding album is bespoke it takes 6 weeks from order to delivery. You are then welcome to collect your album at a convenient time or it can be mailed to you at cost.
